Description

Crew using a shocking machine to collect fish samples for DDT contamination analysis, part of monitoring the 1964 spruce budworm control project. Fish samples from this stream, far outside the spray area will be compared with samples taken on streams in the area to determine the build-up, if any, of DDT residue as a result of the spraying operation. Salmon National Forest, Idaho.
