Description
English: 1968 AMC AMX, a two-seat grand touring type of muscle car. Introduced during the 1968 model year by American Motors Corporation (AMC), this sports car was built in this form through the 1970 model year.

This car is finished in "Laurel Green" with black racing stripes that are part of the "Go Pack" high-performance option. The "390 Go Package" featured AMC's new 390 cu in (6.4 L) 4-bbl 315 hp V8 engine and included power front disk brakes, "Twin-Grip" differential, E70x14 red-stripe performance tires, heavy-duty suspension with thicker sway-bars, heavy-duty cooling, as well as other performance items. This car has the standard four-speed manual transmission, chrome "Magnum 500" styled-steel road wheels, and the "Rally Pac" center dash-mounted gauges.

Photographs were taken during the American Motors Owners (AMO) convention that was held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
