Description

Egyptian Bronze. The HT Holden was built from May 1969-July 1970. Mainly just a facelift on the HK, the HT Holden got a new plastic grille, new taillights, wider back window, the long rectangular speedo was replaced by round gauges. The US 307 V8 was dropped in favour of the new Australian made 253 and 308 V8s. The Chevrolet 350 replacing the 327. Like the HK, the HT was available in five models; Belmont; plain exterior, basic trim, rubber floor mats. Kingswood; carpet, stainless steel trims Premier; bucket seats and a console, quad headlights in a fine mesh grille, different roofline. Brougham; similar to the Premier but 200 mm longer in the body. Monaro 2 door coupe; available in base, sporty GTS and race ready GTS 350. The GTS got full instrumentation, vents in the guards and racing stripes. A wagon was also available: Belmont, Kingswood or Premier also a Utility and a Panel Van. Engines; red 6 cyl; 114hp 161, 130hp 186 and 145hp 186S

V8s; 185hp 253, 210hp 307 (until run out) 240hp 308 and 300hp 350 (only in Monaro GTS 350)
