Summary edit

Description
English: 1970 postcard of the Hotel Traylor at North Fifteenth and Hamilton Streets. The hotel was build in 1917, with the large addition to the left (east) side being constructed in 1929. The hotel was built by Samuel Traylor, a large industrialist who produced mining equipment as well as being a defense contractor during both World Wars. Billing itself as "An Ideal Home for Traveling Men", Traylor lived in the penthouse of the hotel until his death. Many notable guests stayed in it as well, including Babe Ruth during a 1929 visit to Allentown.
