Summary edit

Description
English: 1970 AMC Rebel SST four-door station wagon. The intermediate-size car with room for six adult passengers (with the wagon's standard two rows of seats as a rear-facing third row for two was optional) was built by American Motors Corporation (AMC).

This wagon is finished in Mosport Green Metallic with the optional woodgrain bodyside panels. The matching interior is in green with AMC's woven vinyl (breathable) upholstery with the standard 50-50 individually adjustable reclining front seats. It also has AMC's optional "styled" wheels with trim ring and center cap (often called "Magnum 500" wheels) as well as the standard roof rack. This car has AMC's - new for the 1970 model year - 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine that replaced the 343 versions that were introduced in 1966. The AMC 360 V8 engine continued to be produced until 1991 (even after Chrysler acquired AMC in 1987) for the luxurious Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Transmission is automatic with a column-mounted shifter. Factory options include air conditioning and AM radio with a below dash center-mounted 8-track stereo tape player. The interior view of the tailgate has two handles for opening it after the rear window is down. They operate the two-way rear tailgate. Using the center-mounted release lowers it down on its bottom hinges to extend the cargo floor, or using the other release mounted on the right-side allows it swings it on its left-side hinges for easy reach access to the cargo area.
