| Description |
English: 1970s housing estate Fruitlands housing estate lies to the east of the Malvern Hills. To the right of the estate is the Colwall to Great Malvern railway line which passes under the hills through a tunnel somewhere beneath the photographer's feet. The tunnel replaces one built in Victorian times which closed in 1926. During WW2, the old tunnel was used to store torpedoes and is now home to a colony of rare bats. |
