Deutsch: 23.04.1972 DDR 3600 [38820] Halberstadt, Domplatz (GMP: 51.896290,11.048910): Stephanusdom, gotischer Bau (1240 - 1491). Ab 1239 im Westteil Bau, Westjoche des Langhauses 1276 vollendet. Chor 1354-1402. Schlußweihe 1491. Westtürme 1896. Dreischiffige Basilika mit Querschiff, im Mittelteil Kreuzrippengewölbe, im Querschiff und in den Seitenschiffen Stern-, Netz- und Kreuzrippengewölbe, Bündelpfeiler. Reicher
spätgotischer Lettner (um 1500/10). Langgestreckter Chor mit Umgang, an der Ostseite des Umgangs Marienkapelle (geweiht 1362), stark erneuerte gotische Glasmalereien (14. und 15. Jh.). Westbau mit Vorhalle. Reiche Westfassade mit Doppelportal, darüber Rosenfenster. An Langhaus und Chor voll entwickeltes Strebewerk. Am nördlichen Querschiff reiches Portal. Hier: Kreuzhof.
