Description
Deutsch: Obwohl die Strecke Jülich - Stolberg erst im Mai 1983 stillgelegt wurde, wurden weite Teile der vormals sehr ausgedehnten Gleisanlagen bereits 1982 abgebaut. Im Bild zu sehen von links nach rechts: Altschienenwagen auf dem Gleis zur Ladestraße vor der Papierfabrik Gissler & Pass, daneben die Zuckerfabrik, daneben weite Schotterflächen und letzte Reste der zahlreichen Gütergleise, daneben der Abbaukran (welcher die Güterabfertigung verdeckt), ganz rechts der Wohn- und Werkstattzug der Abbauarbeiter am Gleis 2b des alten Mittelbahnsteigs. Im Hintergrund v.l.n.r. Stellwerk Js, Stellwerk Jm und der Bergisch-Märkische Rechteck-Lokschuppen.
