Magyar: Az 1989. évi határnyitás 20. évfordulójára emlékezve, a német külügyminiszter látogatás alkalmából helyezte el a külügyminisztérium falán a magyar és német miniszter. (Budapest, II. ker. Bem rakpart 74. sz.)

Felirata:

A határok 1989. évi megnyitása után Magyarország független állammá vált és Németország szabadon újraegyesült. Az azóta eltelt 20 év demokrácia, a szabadság, az európai egyesülés és a népeink közötti barátság kiemelkedő példája.

Nach Öffnung der Grenzen im Jahre 1989 wurde Ungarn zu einem freien Staat und Deutschland in Freiheit wiedervereint. Die vergangenen 20 Jahre sind ein herausragendes Beispiel für Demokratie, Freiheit, europäische Einigung und die Freundschaft zwischen unseren Völkern.
