Description1989 Holden Apollo SL (5705689499).jpg |
This is what you get when you take a Toyota Camry and replace all the Toyota Camry badges with Holden Apollo badges!! Would have to be one of the worst efforts when it comes to 'badge engineering'. There was no effort to even give the Apollo a differnet look to the Camry, which translated into sales, most Australians bought the Camry over the Apollo and Apollo sales were a disaster. The Camry and Apollo were both built in Australia and while the Apollo has long gone, the Camry continues to be built here. |
