Description

New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Lower 9th Ward flood devastated residential neighborhood. Cement lip of the new Industrial Canal levee floodwall. The concrete apron is to minimize risk of floodwall failure if storm surge overtopps the wall and starts eroding the base in back of the levee.
