Austin Arkin from Nixon, Mo., both with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas, perform a pre-combat maintenance inspection of the M1-A1 Abrams Tank before offloading them from a rail-head near the town of Drawsko-Pomorskie, Poland Sept. 28, 2014. The tanks will be taken to nearby Drawsko-Pomorskie Training Area, the largest NATO training area in Europe, where they will participate in ongoing Operation Atlantic Resolve that is meant to unify the relationship and improve interoperability with U.S. NATO allies in the region (U.S. Army photo by Illinois Army National Guard Sgt.
