Description Jerry Rusconi (right) a Canadian veteran of the First Special Service Force (FSSF) tells Major Mike Csicsila of the 10th Special Forces Group about his experiences as a member of the Force during World War II. The First Special Services Force formed at Ft Harrison in July of 1942 as a joint force of American and Canadian Soldiers trained to be an elite strike force and was the precursor to today's Special Forces.
