Deutsch: 07.06.2002 18556 Vitt (auf Insel Rügen): Blick vom Strand in Vitt nach Kap Arkona mit dem 1927 erbauten Peilturm der Kriegsmarine (GMP: 54.677448,13.435700). Rechts davon die Wälle der slawischen Jaromarsburg (GMP: 54.677069,13.436311). Bei Kreideabbrüchen sind auch Teile der slawischen Wallanlage in die Ostsee gestürzt. Die Anlage ist der Rest einer legendären Tempelburg und Kultstätte der Ranen, die hier zwischen dem 6. und 12. Jahrhundert dem Gott Svantevit huldigten.
