Description
Deutsch: 06.05.2004 07745 Jena-Wenigerjena, Am Erlkönig 104: Schloß Thalstein (GMP: 50.943554,11.617731) befindet sich zwischen den Siedlungen von Wenigenjena und Kunitz, zwischen Jenzig und Saale und nur wenige hundert Meter nördlich der Erlkönig-Statue. Das Geschoßbuch der Stadt Jena von 1406 nennt auf Seite 163 einen Albrecht Tümpling mit Gütern am Jenzig undir und bie dem Talensteyne. Auf entsprechenden Plänen sind bis 1846 keine Gebäude an der Stelle von Gut Thalstein zu erkennen. Bis 1868 sprach man vom Gut, nicht vom Schloß Thalstein. In der Folgezeit wurde das Anwesen von der Familie von Tümpling erworben. 1960 verkaufte die Familie ihren Besitz an den VEB Fernmeldewerk Arnstadt, der es als Ferienheim nutzte. Nach der Wende stand das Gebäude leer. Seit es 2002 durch das Bundesvermögensamt veräußert wurde, verfällt das denkmalgeschützte Schloß zunehmend. [DSCN3414.JPG]20040506520DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
