Description
Deutsch: 03.07.2004 16269 Wriezen, Frankfurter Straße 2: Das stattliche, heute von der Sparkasse genutzte villenartige Gebäude (GMP: 52.714380,14.132370) wurde 1781 von dem Königlichen Kammerrat Friedrich Wilhelm Noeldechen ursprünglich als Seidenbauhaus im Barockstil errichtet und später zum Wohnhaus umgebaut. Von 1807 bis 1809 wohnte hier ein französischer General namens Dumerc. Es beherbergte den Preußenkönig Friedrich Wilhelm III. auf der Flucht nach der verlorenen Schlacht bei Jena und Auerstedt und wurde während der französischen Besetzung als Kommandantur, später Militärmusikschule und seit Anfang Mai 1922 als Kreisbankgebäude genutzt. Seit 1922 war in diesem Hause der Sitz der Kreisbank und Kreissparkasse Oberbarnim, heute eine Zweigstelle der Sparkasse Märkisch-Oderland. Davor steht der Ellingerbrunnen.
