Deutsch: 25.06.2006 01067 Dresden-Altstadt: Der Zwinger (GMP: 51.052995,13.733789). Barockbau 1711-1728 von Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann. Bildhauerischer Schmuck von Balthasar Permoser und seiner Werkstatt, B. Thomae, P. Heermann und J. Ch. Kirchner (Heute zum großen Teil durch Kopien ersetzt). Blick aus dem Zwingerhof zum Kronentor (GMP: 51.052701,13.732990) mit der Langgalerie. Das Kronentor ist bekrönt von 4 Adlern und der polnischen Königskrone. Johann Benjamin Thomae schuf die Giebelbekrönung. Das Kronentor ist ein Portalpavillon. Das Tor ermöglichte ursprünglich den Zugang von außerhalb der Stadt durch die Festungsmauer. Aus dem Durchgang des Kronentors führt jeweils eine kurze Treppe ins Innere der Langgalerien. Im Hintergrund das Dach vom Schauspielhaus. [DSCN10476.TIF]20060625125DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
