Description
Deutsch: 07.07.2007 01737 Grillenburg (Tharandt): Neues Jägerhaus (GMP: 50.950519,13.504931), Teil der Jagdhausanlage. 1165/1175 entsteht die Markgräfliche Jagdpfalz "Tarantum" des Kaisers Friedrich Barbarossa inmitten von 4 Stauteichen. 1429/1430 Zerstörung der Gebäude bis auf die Grundmauern. 1554/1558 Entstehung der Jagdhausanlage "Grüllenburgk" auf Befehl von "Vater" August. Hier das Neue Jägerhaus (1937-39 vom Architekten Prof. W. Jost, TH Dresden) für Sachsens NS-Gauleiter Martin Mutschmann gebaut. Darunter ist die historische romanische Bausubstanz in Form eines griechischen Kreuzes erhalten geblieben. Hier stand einst ein Kreuzpalast mit vier unterirdischen Gängen, die in vier kleine Kammern führten. Nach dem II. Weltkrieg dienten Jagschloß und das Neue Jägerhaus kurze Zeit als Kinderheim. Danach wurde im Neuen Jägerhaus das VdN-Kurheim "Elsa Fenske" untergebracht. In der DDR-Zeit hatten hier u.a. Leonid Breschnew, Pjotr Abrassimow (Sowjetunion) und Fiedel Castro (Kuba) bei Staatsbesuchen ihr zeitweiliges Quartier. Das Neue Jägerhaus diente ab 1990 kurze Zeit als Pension und ist inzwischen von der Stadt Tharandt gekauft und an die Stiftung Musik-Kunst-Natur verpachtet worden. Bis 1993 genutzt.
