Deutsch: 14.03.2009 04109 Leipzig: Augustusplatz. Im Vordergrund der "Mende-Brunnen" (GMP: 51.338479,12.380776), errichtet aus dem Vermächtnisse der Frau Marianne Pauline Mende geb. Thieriot, 1886. Im Hintergrund auf dem Campus der Universität Leipzig das Paulinum - Aula und Universitätskirche St. Pauli (GMP: 51.338913,12.379413) - ein Gebäude der Universität Leipzig. Das Gebäude entstand zwischen 2007 und 2017 nach Plänen des niederländischen Architekten Erick van Egeraat an der Stelle, an der am 30. Mai 1968 die Paulinerkirche gesprengt wurde. Das Paulinum als universitätseigenes Gebäude vereinigt unter seinem Dach sowohl wissenschaftliche Institute als auch die Universitätskirche. [DSCN35595.TIF]200903141060DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
