Description

Great BBQ Brisket Sandwich: Willy's is not exactly like being in Texas, but, for this part of California, it ain't bad at all! Billed as a Texas BBQ house, it is close to some of the places in Austin I've visited. The environment isn't as good as the food. There is a chow line from the door to place your order and then you get seated in what feels like a barn (big open seating area) and wait for the flashing little drink coaster to glow with your order is ready notification. You then go to the Pick-up window to get your food. Self serve drink machines.

What is lacking in the ambiance, is more than made-up-for with the food! I am a big fan of their BBQ Beef Brisket. Of special note is there house label BBQ sauce coming in two forms: hot and really hot. I highly recommend their sauce.

Yes, I visit Willy's often and will continue to do so.
