Deutsch: Der alte Marktplatz von Biedenkopf in der Altstadt (heute "Oberstädter Marktplatz", "Oberer Markt" oder "Oberer Marktplatz" genannt). Blick (v.l.n.r.) auf die evangelische Stadtkirche, den Oberstädter Marktbrunnen, die Oberstadt-Linde und das erste Rathaus der Stadt; zwei weitere existieren noch. Fachwerkbau mit Mansarddach; 1717 abgebrannt, von 1732 bis 1935 Sitz der Stadtverwaltung. Zeitweilig Jugendherberge, nun Wohngebäude. Kellergeschoss mit gotischen Spitzbögen; inklusive Anbau (bis ca. Mitte 19. Jhdt. städtisches Brauhaus); Blick von der Hintergasse. English: The old market square in the old town of Biedenkopf (now called the "Oberstädter Marktplatz/upper town market square"). View (from left to right) on the Protestant city church, the old market fountain, the Upper Town-lime and the first town hall, and two more still exist. Half-timbered building with mansard roof, burned in 1717, from 1732 to 1935 the city government. Temporary hostel, residential building now. Basement with Gothic pointed arches, including the extension (Until the mid 19th century urban brewery); view from the street "Hintergasse".
