Summary edit

Description
English: In 1900 this entrance was added to Lancaster railway station. Until then the entrance had been on the west side of the line but this provided an entrance closer to the city. A carriage road leads from the bridge across the south end of the station and a footpath to the bridge further north. This is now the main booking office and leads straight onto the footbridge across the station but people can still enter or leave on the west side if they prefer.
