Description
English: The John Hancock Tower, now called 200 Clarendon Street, located off Copley Square in the quadrangle formed by Clarendon and Stuart Streets, St. James Avenue and Trinity Place, in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, is a 60-story, 790-foot (240 m) skyscraper completed in 1976 and designed by Henry N. Cobb of the firm I. M. Pei & Partners. It was orignally named for the insurance company which was its primary tenant, but which has been moving since 2004 to other buildings in Boston.

In the left foreground is Trinity Church in Boston, and behind it the older John Hancock Building at 200 Berkeley Street. In the right foreground is the Arts Boston BosTix booth.
