| Description |
English: Bristol Temple Meads station was resignalled over the Easter holiday in 2018. Most signals were replaced like for like but the former fixed signals (black and white crosses) that marked the split between platforms were replaced by full multiple aspect signals. Most of these were suspended on brackets from the canopy but BL2114 (and BL2131 facing the opposite direction) is mounted on a cast column which is sympathetic with the stations 1870s architecture. This was done as the platform here (numbers 5 and 6) is too wide and the roof too high. |
