Deutsch: Kirchenfenster mit einer Darstellung des Apostels Markus auf der Ostseite der 1926 errichteten evangelisch-lutherischen Paul-Gerhardt-Kirche in Hannover im Stadtteil Badenstedt. Eine Reihe von fünf Fenstern zeigt hier Jesus und die Apostel Matthäus, Markus, Lukas und Johannes - dargestellt als Mensch/Engel, Löwe, Stier und Adler. Die Ornamentik greift "afrikanische" Stilelemente auf, die sich auch sonst in der Kirche finden. Die Kirche liegt am Rande des Afrikaviertels, in dem Straßen nach ehemaligen deutschen Kolonien benannt sind. |
