Description
Nederlands: Detail van de Maquette Maastricht 1867, gefotografeerd tijdens een open dag in 2023 in museum/brouwerij Bosch (v/h De Keyzer) in Wyck-Maastricht. Aan de maquette, die voor minder dan de helft voltooid is, wordt sinds 1999 door vrijwilligers van de Stichting Maastricht 1867 gewerkt. Hier de vestingwerken ten zuiden van Maastricht, gezien vanuit het zuidoosten. Van de binnenstedelijke bebouwing is op de maquette nog maar een klein deel gerealiseerd, waaronder het Pater Vincktorentje (1), de Helpoort (2) en de watermolen Het Ancker of 't Pesthuys (3), daartussen het langgerekte gebouw van het Gemeentelijk Slachthuis (4). Nr. 5 is de "bloedbak", een duiker onder het Kanaal Luik-Maastricht, waarin het via een Jekertak aangevoerde slachtafval achterbleef.
