Nederlands: Detail van de Maquette Maastricht 1867, gefotografeerd tijdens een open dag in 2023 in museum/brouwerij Bosch (v/h De Keyzer) in Wyck-Maastricht. Aan de maquette, die voor minder dan de helft voltooid is, wordt sinds 1999 door vrijwilligers van de Stichting Maastricht 1867 gewerkt. Van de binnenstedelijke bebouwing is op de maquette nog maar een klein deel gerealiseerd. Hier de omgeving Boschstraat en Bassin, gezien vanuit het noordwesten. In dit gebied ligt de bakermat van de industriële ontwikkeling van Maastricht. De tussen de Boschstraat en de vestingwal gelegen bebouwing behoort merendeels tot de glas-, kristal- en aardewerkfabrieken van Petrus Regout & Co. Ten zuiden van het Bassin ligt de arbeiderswijk Boschstraatkwartier. Rechtsboven liggen een kazernecomplex (Boschbarakken) en de Sint-Andrieskapel (in gebruik als gevangenis). |
