Im Jahre 1952 kam

    Dr. med. Hans Greifensteiner

als junger Unfallarzt für Chirurgie und Orthopädie der Wiener Schule nach Neuss.

Durch großes Können und überragendes Engagement baute er im

Laufe der Jahre die

    Unfallklinik Dr. Greifensteiner
	
hier an der Hafenstraße auf.

Sein großer Einsatz Tag und Nacht für sein Lebenswerk machte ihn weit über

Neuss hinaus bekannt. Im Jahre 2005 verstarb er 90-jährig.

Die Städtischen Kliniken Neuss - Lukaskrankenhaus - GmbH übernahm 2005

seine Unfallklinik und führt sie als Rheintor Klinik in seinem Geise für die

Patienten fort.
