Deutsch: Erstes Stimmsystem einer Bodhrán mit nur einem Verstellpunkt von Seamus O'Kane (patentiert). Dieses System wird nicht mehr produziert, laut Hersteller ist die Anfertigung zu kompliziert. Das System besteht hauptsächlich aus drei Holzringen. Der erste (im Bild unten) liegt direkt am Trommelfell an. Dieser Ring kann sich nicht drehen, er bewegt sich nur in der Längsachse der Trommel und übt mehr oder weniger starken Druck auf das Trommelfell aus. Die dem Trommelfell abgewandte Seite des Rings trägt mehrere Abschrägungen. Diese Abschrägungen liegen direkt gegenüber zu ihren Gegenstücken auf dem zweiten Holzring. Der zweite Holzring trägt eine Zahnstange und ist drehbar. Der zweite Holzring wird durch den ersten und dritten in Position gehalten. Der dritte Ring ist fest mit dem Rahmen der Bodhrán verschraubt. Im Bereich der Zahnstange auf dem zweiten Ring trägt der dritte Ring eine Halterung mit einem Zapfen, auf dem das Stimmwerkzeug angesetzt wird. Das Stimmwerkzeug trägt an der Vorderseite ein Zahnrad. Wird es auf dem Zapfen am dritten Ring angesetzt, greift es in die Zahnstange auf dem zweiten Ring. Durch Drehen des Stimmwerkzeugs wird der zweite Ring gegen des ersten und dritten gedreht. Dabei verschieben sich die Abschrägungen des ersten und zweiten Rings gegeneinander, und es wird je nach Drehrichtung mehr oder weniger Druck auf das Trommelfell ausgeübt und so die Tonhöhe geändert. Der zweite Ring wird alleine durch Reibung in Position gehalten. |
