Description
English: The photograph by Dr. R. Ward has been praised as his best and is certainly his most renowned photograph of North Shore suburbia. The suburb St Leonards in Sydney is located on the lower North Shore. It was named after English statesman Thomas Townsend, 1st Viscount Sydney of St Leonards. The Township of St Leonards in 1883 is now known as the North Shore. It now known as a busy business district in the North Shore.
