Deutsch: Feldpostkarte vom 4. November 1914 von dem Fahnenjunker Otto Braun (1896–1918) in der Ersatz-Eskadron des Jäger-zu-Pferde-Regiments Nr. 4 im XVII. Armeekorps der 8. Armee, einem ehemaligen Schüler der Freien Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf, an seinen ehemaligen Lehrer und Schulleiter Paul Geheeb (1870–1961), den Leiter der Odenwaldschule in Oberhambach bei Heppenheim an der Bergstraße, Hessen. – Transkription: „Graudenz, 4. XI. 1914. Wenige Stunden vor dem Ausrücken möchte ich doch noch einmal Dir, lieber Paul, Deiner Gemahlin und den Freunden in der Odenwaldschule, besonders auch Arthur, meine herzlichsten Grüsse und Wünsche für ein frohes Wiedersehen senden. Vorläufig komme ich nach Mława [Polen]. Adresse bleibt wie bisher, da alles nachgesandt wird. Lass’ es Dir, lieber Paul, den Deinen und der Schule recht gut ergehen und glaube mit mir an eine frohe Rückkehr nach siegreichem Feldzuge. Dein treuer Otto [Braun].“
