  • Significance: The crossing is a critical link in the railroad route from Philadelphia to New York, and has hosted a series of bridges dating back to 1806. The current bridge is one of the Pennsylvania Railroad's largest stone arch structures, built during the campaign of major improvements at the turn of the 20th century.
