Summary edit

Description
English: As seen in downtown Pontiac, Michigan, December 2020: a pair of proud Ionic columns flank a spacious arched portal at the grand entrance to the Neoclassical-styled 30 North building, located at the northeast corner of Saginaw and Lawrence Streets. At left is a gold leaf-covered relief of Chief Pontiac of the Ottawa tribe, sculpted by Marshall Fredericks. Eight stories in height and built in 1921, the building originally housed the home offices of the Pontiac Commercial & Savings Bank as well as of successor company Community National Bank, whose ghost signage is still visible on the frieze. The building now houses a mixture of apartment, office, and event space.
