Description 330-CFD-DD-ST-99-04239: On board a Military Airlift Command's Starlifter, former Prisoners of War, U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Edward Anthony Davis, (Captured 26 Aug 65) and his puppy, MACO, catch some well deserved rest after departing Clark Air Base, Philippines. The puppy was given to him by a North Vietnamese guard prior to his release in the second group of POWs from Hanoi on February 12, 1973, 2/1/1973. Photographed at Clark Air Base, Luzon, Philippines by SSGT Larry Wright. (OPA-NARA II-2016/02/08).
