Description 330-PS-2450 (USN 708494): “Carrier Ahoy”. From the decks of the LSI, the WAVES saw USS Cabot (CVL 28) tied to the pier at Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, Rhode Island. After disembarking from the LSI, they went on board the light carrier to tour the ship. Experienced carrier officers accompanied them to answer their questions and to point out individual characteristics of the class of ship. Photograph released January 21, 1952. (5/26/2015).
