Description 330-PS-793-4: U.S. Army Radiophoto: Conflict in Korea. The big sixteen inch guns of USS Missouri (BB 63) blaze out against North Korean targets, October 15, 1950. . The “Big Mo” was serving as flag ship for Vice Admiral Struble, Commander Seventh Fleet. She has been busy bombarding military and transportation targets along the east coast of North Korea. A single shell from her 16” guns weighs a ton. (7/8/1950).
