Description 330-PSA-16-60 (USN 1047343): Underwater Eyes. A U.S. Navy frogman tests sonar equipment developed to locate underwater objects. The light-weight, portable, diver-held sonar system is economically powered by standard flash-light batteries. Earphones provide the diver with audio information of objects detected by the searching sonar beam. Photograph released May 5, 1960. (8/25/2015).
