The 40 years existence of Schiphol Airport. Jan Delleart, director of Schiphol, and I.A. Aler, chairman of KLM, are present at a reception where invited guests make a tour around the airport in busses, a.o. over the new runway for jet planes. Minister H.A. Korthals opens the National Aviation Museum, which houses a.o. a Fokker FVII and copies of the glider of Lilienthal and the airplane of the Wright brothers. With archive material of Schiphol.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
40-jarig bestaan van de luchthaven Schiphol. Jan Dellaert, directeur van Schiphol, en I.A. Aler, president-directeur van KLM, zijn aanwezig op een receptie en de genodigden maken in autobussen een rondrit over de luchthaven, oa over de nieuwe startbaan voor straalvliegtuigen. Minister H.A.
