Coughlin, Commandant of the Twelfth Naval District, and Brigadier General Edwin H. Simmons, USMC, Director of Marine Corps History and Museums hold the ribbon as Admiral James L. Holloway, III, Chief of Naval Operations, cuts the ribbon at the official opening of the museum. The museum was active from 1976 to 1997. Photographed by PH2 Outwater, October 2, 1975.
