Teil einer Felsrippe, die vom Ochsenkopf nach SE zieht. Der porphyrische Randgranit weist rhombische Absonderungskörper auf, die durch zwei sich schneidende Lagerklüfte entstanden sind. Goethe zeichnete den Felsen 1785, die Werke wurden jedoch erst 1986 durch Forstdirektor Anton Böhm wiederentdeckt. Geotoptyp: Wollsackbildung Geologie: Randgranit (Jungpaläozoikum) Granit
