Summary edit

Description
English: The caption says "Olaf Hellige og troldene", meaning "Saint Olaf and the trolls". This refers to king Olaf II who lived 993 to 1030. Engraving by "E. Dunker" based on a "kalkmaleri" (i.e. Fresco-secco?) in the "Kumbla" church in "Bermeland" (Source: p. 523 (not 587) in "Illustreret Norges Historie". This "Bermeland" may be same as Värmland County in Sweden, see [1] But "Kumbla" refers to the Kumla Church in Västmanland, where this scene is part of the ceiling murals made by Albertus Pictor in the 1400s (see black and white picture of the original).
