Одаренный необычайной любознательностью и гениальными способностями, "Отец Отечества", Петр I-й, основатель С.Петербурга, творец русского флота, победитель Карла XII, проникнутый заботами о России, явился бессмертным преобразователемеё. Сблизив Россию с Европпой, сам служа примером, он насадил на родной почве знание, труд и промышленность, приучая русских людей действовать самобытно.
