| Description | 650 Madison Avenue, between East 59th and East 60th Streets in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1957 as the "C.I.T. Building" and was designed by Harrison & Abramovitz. A tower was added on top of the 8 story building in 1987, designed by Fox & Fowle, and the original black granite and stainless steel facade was replaced by a new skin of green-tinted glass.
