Description

Accession: 68-582-A Dance, Invitation, Program Paper 4"H x 5"W

Dance invitation and program for the "Enlisted Girls Dance," Yeomanettes Annual Ball on January 6th 1919. Interior of the program lists toasts and dances, No 28 is the popular song "The Rose of No Mans Land" a tribute to the Red Cross nurses who served during WWI. The reverse of the invitation has been marked, "The night I met my husband" but interestingly the program also lists the entrance fee for a couple as $1.00 and extra ladies were 50 cents.
