| Description |
English: A pleasant surprise at CArnforth, where having viewed the Phoenix Railway Photography Circle exhibition there in the Link Gallery, a quick peruse of RTT showed this working heading my way. In fact it was being held just north of the station and then drew forward to await it's booked path onto the WCML as far as Bare Lane. A chance for a chat with the Driver and some close ups of the locos and flasks before resuming my delicious lunch of thick-cut ham, egg and chips in the Brief Encounter tearooms, washed down with a welcoming pint of Lancaster IPA. What could be better? |
