Description
English: Map of the range of Periparus rubidiventris. Original caption: Fig. 2. Distributional map of subspecies and of cytochrome-b haplotype clusters of Parus rubidiventris. Solid bar (in Himalayas, 1) indicates the distribution limit of reddish-bellied western nominate rubidiventris and of grey-bellied eastern beavani and whistleri; isolated area: saramatii (grey-bellied). Thin bar (SW China, 2) separates cytochrome-b haplotype clusters, i.e. the Himalayan cluster (nominate rubidiventries and beavani) and the Chinese cluster (whistleri). Haplotype affiliation of saramatii unknown. – Slightly modified from Martens et al. (2006).
