English: An Afghan boy looks into a Buffalo mine-protected clearance vehicle as it passes by during a route clearance mission by the 832nd Engineer Company, part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry “Red Bulls” Division, based out of Keokuk, Iowa, through the Sanghar Valley in Afghanistan March 17. The company had been hit by an improvised explosive device their last two times through the valley, and the area remains a hotbed of enemy activity.
