Summary edit

Description
English: The entrance lobby of Palazzo Litta Cusini (also known as "Litta Modignani"), in Milan, Italy. I could not fine informationj on the topic, but I think the terracotta tondos be an addition (in the Renaissance Revival taste) made during the 19th century restoration. The left-side medallion portrays Duke Filippo Maria Visconti (1392-1447), the right side (I guess) one of his two wives. Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, April 22 2007.
