Italiano: I Re Magi. Dettaglio dello straordinario presepe, dipinto ad olio su carta applicata a sagome di legno, opera di Francesco Landonio e risalente al 1750 circa. Si trova nella Cappella del Presepe nella chiesa di San Marco a Milano. Questa tipologia di Presepe fu comune in passato, ma per la "povertà" e fragilità dei materiali oggi ne sono rimasti pochi esemplari. Quello di San Marco è di particolare interesse anche per lo splendido stato in cui si trova dopo il recente restauro. Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 14-4-2007.
English: The Three Wise Men. Detail from the distinguished Nativity scene, painted on paper sheets glued on wood paneles, was made by Francesco Landonio around 1750. It is on display in the Cappella del Presepe in san Marco church at Milan. This kind of presepe was rather common in the past, but only few such specimens survived to us.
