Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88703_DSC01654.JPG Notes: אַלּוֹנִים הוא קיבוץ בצפון עמק יזרעאל, ליד קריית טבעון, המשתייך לתנועה הקיבוצית. הקיבוץ, שעלה לקרקע במיקומו הנוכחי בשנת 1938, נמצא בתחום השיפוט של המועצה האזורית עמק יזרעאל.בסיוון תרצ"ז הוחלט לקרוא ל"קבוצת הרועים" בשם קיבוץ אלונים, על שם העץ השליט באזור הגבעות. חברי הקיבוץ השתלבו בארגון ההגנה באזור ועוסקים בשמירה ובאבטחת הנקודה והסביבה.במסגרת עליית חומה ומגדל הוקמה נקודה זו עם חומת אבנים, מאבני הבניינים העתיקים של הכפר ג'ידה, אבנים אלה ישמשו מאוחר יותר לבניית חדר-האוכל הראשון.
